Min Y Don Caravan Club Site

Min y Don is ideally situated on level, beautifully landscaped land between the coast road and the beach, set against a backcloth formed by Snowdon and the colourful mountain range. Needless to say, the views of the mountainous terrain, sand dunes and floodlit 13thC World Heritage Castle are breathtaking. A short walk will take you into Harlech past the railway station, where you can enjoy unique pubs, restaurants and shops set within this friendly historic town. You will also find a heated indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, tennis court and theatre. If you want to venture further afield, the site is conveniently located to access the main train line to Pwllheli, Criccieth, Barmouth and Aberdovey.

This very special park is set within the Snowdonia National Park and is ideal for the beach, walking, climbing, golf, fishing and cycling. A short walk, via the pathway across the adjoining famous Royal St David’s Golf Course, affords an easy approach to the three miles of soft sandy beach which provides safe bathing for all ages.

Ogofau

Adjacent to the old Roman gold mines, in a beautiful setting at the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, within a 2,500 acre estate owned and managed by the National Trust. The site has a tranquil atmosphere by the River Cothi, set in Red Kite country in an open glade within woodland  with delightful wildflowers and abundant wildlife. There is a local pub within walking distance and garage & shop in 2 miles. Coarse river fishing and horse riding can also be enjoyed close by. Visit the underground gold mine and enjoy one of the guided tours, or follow one of a number of waymarked walks from the site. National Trust properties at Dinefwr and Llanerchaeron are within easy reach. Close to country parks and only 16-miles from the coast, this is an ideal base for a walking or touring holiday. Aberbran

A small, peaceful oasis of a site (former railway station) on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park: ideal if you want a walking and bird watching holiday. The National Park's Mountain Centre is well-equipped with information, leaflets and walks as well as an exhibition and a small cafe with an outside terrace from which there's a breathtaking view. If you want to shop, Brecon is a busy little market town (market on Tuesday and Friday) with a very good craft fair once a month for all kinds of Welsh crafts. There's also a Jazz Festival in mid-August.
