Doldowlod

A site of considerable charm and quiet beauty. It is peacefully situated in the centre of rural Mid Wales on the banks of the River Wye with glorious views of the surrounding hills. For those who love bird watching, a wide variety of species including the Red Kite can be seen in the area. For walkers and cyclists this is an unspoilt and quiet part of Wales with many way-marked trails and secluded country lanes. The Wye Valley walk and the national cycle route 8 are both within ¾m of the site. Anglers can enjoy peace and tranquillity with fishing available locally as well as lakes and reservoirs nearby. Llandrindod Wells holds its Victorian Festival each August. The  Royal Welsh Agricultural Show takes place at Builth Wells each July. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs nearby.  Market Day Friday.

Aberbran

A small, peaceful oasis of a site (former railway station) on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park: ideal if you want a walking and bird watching holiday. The National Park's Mountain Centre is well-equipped with information, leaflets and walks as well as an exhibition and a small cafe with an outside terrace from which there's a breathtaking view. If you want to shop, Brecon is a busy little market town (market on Tuesday and Friday) with a very good craft fair once a month for all kinds of Welsh crafts. There's also a Jazz Festival in mid-August.

Glen Of Aherlow Caravan & Camping Park

Spectacular scenery, top class amenities and a warm welcome await you here. The park is situated right in the heart of one of the most picturesque valleys in Ireland.  Surrounded as it is by woodland and farmland, the park offers a quiet and relaxing holiday in a country environment. The secluded and beautiful Glen of Aherlow lies between the dramatic Galtee Mountains, Ireland's highest inland mountain range, and the wooded slopes of Slievenamuck on the edge of the Golden Vale. It is within easy walking distance of the Nature Park, local country pub, The Glen Hotel and Aherlow House Hotel.  Because of its central location, this park is ideally situated for touring holidays. Woodland walks are readily accessible from the park, which is also a superb area for bird watching and rambling.  For the more adventurous among you, the towering Galtee slopes and their five corrie lakes are just waiting to be conquered!
