The site is level and open, with good screening from the road and in an area which traditionally has a mild, warm climate. Britain's premier seaside resort provides non-stop amusement for the family from morning to night! Starting with the sands of course, and the famous illuminations (late August to early November) there is also Blackpool Pleasure Beach with The Big One - the tallest, scariest roller coaster in the world and Valhalla - the latest terrifying ride to draw visitors. There's seven floors of fun at The Tower and a wide range of attractions and entertainment 365 days a year. There's horse riding near to the site and walkers should head for Beacon Fell, 40 minutes by car. An ideal touring base for Wigan Pier and Albert Dock, it is also a gateway to the beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.

New to the network for 2009, the site is set in the centre of the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed  in the heart of North Wales with easy access to its shops, restaurants, pubs and variety of local tourist attractions. Betws-y-Coed has built on an outstanding international reputation as an attractive village in its own right and a perfect centre from which to explore the magnificent Snowdonia National Park with its many attractions – from its lakes and mountains to narrow gauge railway and other historic reminders of its heritage and colourful past.

A simple rural site of charm and intimacy in the most breathtaking countryside, with mountains rising at your back and sheep cropping the field over the fence. It's an excellent centre if you're a walker for there's everything from a simple stroll to a serious trek over the Berwyns. Llangollen is not far away for the Eisteddfod, the Canal and Telford's bridge over the Dee, and if you're interested in gardens, you must visit the National Trust's Bodnant: it's worth the 30-mile drive to see one of Britain's greatest gardens famous for its wonderful Laburnum walk. A little closer to home is the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall - one of the seven wonders of Wales.
