This site is set in a quiet valley close to an ancient farmhouse and surrounded by beautiful countryside. If Devon means rolling farmland and dazzling coastline to you, then this is a site where all your holiday dreams come true. Situated on an old farmstead with blissful space around for the children to explore, it's well-equipped with play area, wendy house and fort, while for older visitors there's tennis, table tennis, darts and even a pool table. The site is within a short drive of the famous English Riviera of Torbay, yet turn inland and you can soon get to the rugged splendour of Dartmoor. Drive south west and you'll find Elizabethan Totnes on the river Dart - take a trip down the river to Dartmouth to see it at its best. For town-life, Plymouth and Exeter aren't too far away. For golfers, a challenging 18-hole golf course at Dainton Park is on the doorstep.

Ramslade

This recently refurbished site nestled between the River Dart and the coast, affords beautiful hillside views from most pitches. Only a mile from the site is Stoke Gabriel, one of Devon’s prettiest villages, which benefits from easy river access, where, at low tide, crabbing is a must. This is an excellent centre for exploring the English Riviera (Torquay, Paignton & Brixham) the lovely South Hams area of Devon, inland to the splendours of Dartmoor, or the contrasting cities of Exeter & Plymouth. NT properties and coastal path walking are within easy reach giving something for every one to explore and enjoy.

Steamer Quay

A surprisingly quiet, green and pleasantly open site with pastoral views, yet within a short walk of the centre of bustling Totnes with its good pubs and restaurants. The town has been a significant port for many centuries and you could walk along the banks of the busy river to take in the historic atmosphere, before making your way up the hill to the Narrows, the oldest part of the town. Make sure you visit the historic Guildhall and museum and the Tuesday pannier market, a popular event when stallholders dress in Elizabethan costume.

Start Bay

A long, gently sloping meadow site screened with well-kept shrubs and trees, with the sea only ¾ mile away. This is ideal for the open-air holiday. You're close to the bird sanctuary at Slapton Ley and if you sail you can moor at East Portlemouth and explore the marvellous harbours and creeks of this lovely coast. The sea fishing is excellent from the beach too, so bring your tackle. Kingsbridge is an interesting old town renowned for its excellent food, with attractive buildings and an old-worlde charm.
Bathing off the coast can be dangerous and particular note must be taken of any local notices.
