Planted with silver birch, rowan and flowering cherry, this gem of a site is located at the end of a country lane on the edge of a pretty stone-roofed village. Ideal for a relaxing break, there is an amazing variety of wildlife on and around the site. Footpaths and cycle routes radiate into the countryside from the site, including the South Downs Link to the North Downs which runs past the site following an old railway line. The reception is built on the site of an old railway station, closed in 1965 and displays many historical pictures and fascinating facts. The village of Slinfold is a delight, with rose-covered cottages still retaining their old names such as The Tannery and  Forge Cottage.  Local people extend a warm welcome to caravanners,  particularly at fete and flower festival times.

A pleasant green and flat site surrounded by mature trees with grass and hard standing pitches. Although there is still some doubt, Henley probably dates from the early 12thC and has many old and interesting buildings. Although the present ornate stone bridge over the River Thames dates from 1786, there is evidence of an earlier bridge dating from about 1170. In the town there are many antiques shops, art galleries and up market boutiques for you to wander around, or you can take a leisurely boat ride on the Thames travelling as far as Marlow or even Maidenhead. Henley is of course the home of the famous Regatta in June/July. This is followed a week later by the Music Festival. There is also a Traditional Boat Rally in July which involves the old wooden-built craft - a touch of nostalgia!
