A site for the classic bucket and spade holiday, with its own private access to the promenade and not far from the centre of Skegness. This could hardly be bettered for the family: as well as the easy access to the beach, the site is part of a larger complex with pool (extra charge) and children's play area. There is a supermarket within easy walking distance and it is only two miles to the centre of "Skeggy", the traditional seaside resort to beat 'em all. It's busy with visitors throughout the summer, enjoying the golf courses, bowling greens, boating lakes, amusement parks, ornamental gardens and, from July, the famous illuminations.

The handsomest of sites, a hillside area of 21 acres, terraced to give some views of the sea, but with some inland-facing woodland pitches for quiet, green tranquillity. A really splendid place for a holiday. The site itself is a pleasure, with some sea views, woodland to explore, walks and wild flowers, especially in Spring. West Runton village has a very good restaurant, a tea room, a social club and an hotel. Nearby West Runton railway station for trips to Norwich and Sheringham. You are only a mile from the sea, and there's a nine-hole golf course right next door. As well as fine sandy beaches the family will really enjoy all the places to visit in the surrounding area - the only problem is fitting it all in!

This site offers a variety of pitches, spread over four self-contained areas, some sheltered by conifer belts, some enclosed within the garden setting of the racecourse paddock, and some lining the rails overlooking beautiful countryside. Here you can have a relaxing or an active holiday (or a combination of both) in comfortable and picturesque surroundings with excellent facilities adjacent which include bridge, bowls, table tennis, tennis, archery, rifle shooting, golf and squash. Fakenham itself is an attractive market town (flea market on Thursdays) and is an ideal centre for exploring Norfolk's varied attractions.
