Cala Gran is one of Haven’s 36 Holiday Parks across the British coast and has a fantastic range of leisure, sports, outdoor and indoor activities on offer. With something for the whole family, Cala Gran is the perfect choice for a week’s holiday or even a short 3 or 4 night break.
There is plenty to do at Haven. We have up to 70 FREE activities, facilities and entertainment shows to keep everybody happy during your Haven holiday. For the little ones the thrills start early, with a Character Breakfast given by Rory or Bradley. Then from mid-morning onwards there is a versatile array of sports activities, family games, shows and events. In the evening there are dazzling shows, live music, comedy, and dance floor action perfect for all the family.
There’s fantastic water fun all with indoor heated pools, and Outdoor SplashZones, not to mention Water Walkerz and Family It’s a Knockout plus inflatables, aqua jets and surf riders at selected Parks. Add this to a superb range of Sporting activities from Football, Shoot & Hoop, Uni Hock, Kwik Cricket and a range of racket sports through to Fencing, Kart Hire & Family Park Rangers, and you’re in for an action packed holiday.
Then come the evening there’s something for everyone courtesy of Haven’s evening entertainment with stage shows, live bands comedy and party specials plus kids activities organised by the characters themselves for the little ‘uns providing just what you need to complete the day.

The site is in beautiful Wensleydale (where the famous cheese has been made for nearly a century) between the River Ure and the market town of Hawes, with river frontage. Brown Moor completes the third of the Club's trio of sites within the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, serving the northern part. Hawes is one of the highest market towns in England (850 feet above sea level) and has immense character. Anyone with a reasonable pair of walking shoes will want to explore further afield, with the beauties of the Dales on the doorstep. The Pennine Way passes close to the site and tracks made in past centuries make it easy to explore on foot. |

Walk from the site into the heart of this elegant Victorian seaside town, strolling past the exclusive shops in Lord Street under vaulted canopies of wrought iron and Victorian glass. Opposite the site, there is a nature reserve, Victoria Park with its croquet, bowling greens, and flower show in late August, as well as plenty of family fun on the nearby beach. Annual events include the Flower Show in August and the Air Show in September. Southport is an ideal holiday touring base with the Lake District, the Yorkshire Moors, the Roman City of Chester and Wigan Pier all within easy travelling distance. |

The site is level and open, with good screening from the road and in an area which traditionally has a mild, warm climate. Britain's premier seaside resort provides non-stop amusement for the family from morning to night! Starting with the sands of course, and the famous illuminations (late August to early November) there is also Blackpool Pleasure Beach with The Big One - the tallest, scariest roller coaster in the world and Valhalla - the latest terrifying ride to draw visitors. There's seven floors of fun at The Tower and a wide range of attractions and entertainment 365 days a year. There's horse riding near to the site and walkers should head for Beacon Fell, 40 minutes by car. An ideal touring base for Wigan Pier and Albert Dock, it is also a gateway to the beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. |
