This quiet, attractive and rural site (privately owned & exclusively adult) provides a five star location with hard standings, and fully serviced pitches. The excellent facilities, including shop, café, bar and restaurant, are housed within an impressive green oak timber-framed barn offering everything you would expect from a superior site. Visit www.thebarnrestaurant-pidley.co.uk to read more about the a la carte Barn Restaurant.

The site is set in ancient bluebell woodland on the 150-acre family farm. There is fishing and tennis on site and a pay-as-you-play 18-hole golf course next door. In addition, several public footpaths cross the farm linking to other local walkways and villages.

The attractions of the region are plentiful, from the beautiful city of Cambridge to the cathedral cites of Ely and Peterborough, the walking and cycling of Huntingdon, the waterways and the rural pleasure of the many unspoilt villages.  Well behaved dogs are welcome.  MD Mon & Fri.

Rutland Caravan & Camping Site

This family-run site, situated in the heart of Rutland, offers you the opportunity to explore England’s smallest county, renowned for its picturesque villages and towns. The site is adjacent to the village of Greetham, through which the Viking Way and various other footpath networks meander. The village offers three pubs (all serving food), tennis, badminton, bowls, pentanque, football, cricket and a children’s play area.  Golfers are spoilt here with one of Rutland’s finest clubs – Greetham Valley, which boasts two 18-hole courses, 9-hole par 3 course, driving range, club house and excellent Pro Shop.

Rutland certainly lives up to its motto ‘Multim in Parvo’ (much in little) with Rutland Water with its sailing, cycling, fishing, rock climbing, butterfly & aquatic centre and nature reserve.

Houghton Mill

The site, owned by The National Trust, is on the banks of the River Great Ouse with spectacular views across the river to the Trust's Houghton Mill, the last working watermill on this river. Milling demonstrations are held every Sunday during the season and visitors can purchase the flour. The site is situated on the fringe of the highly picturesque village of Houghton, with a wealth of timbered and thatched-roof cottages, pub and shops, and the whole surrounding area is a paradise for walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts.
